Founded in 1950 and located in Riverside, CA, CBU offers more than 80 undergraduate majors as well as 31 graduate majors and three doctoral programs. More than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students learn from expert Christian instructors in a wide range of disciplines including accounting, business, engineering, graphic design, marketing, music, nursing and theology. Each year, CBU International Service Project program sends hundreds of students, alumni, faculty and staff around the world to serve the material, physical and spiritual needs of the communities into which they are sent. CBU is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges as well as numerous accrediting bodies including the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the California Commission on Teacher Credentials and the National Association of Schools of Music among others.
