What is the Collective on Violence Prevention?
The Collective on Violence Prevention (CVP) is a student network of diverse men and leaders on campus dedicated to ending sexual violence at UC Riverside. CVP seeks to create spaces on campus that explore and promote healthy masculinities through empowerment based dialogue, education and mentorship as it relates to sexual violence prevention. CVP works in collaboration with the CARE office and several student organizations on campus.
The original development of the Collective on Violence Prevention was made possible through a scholarship awarded through the Donald A. Strauss Foundation in 2018.
