Growing up along the South Texas coast, it was destined that Captain Gerad Merritt would develop a love for hunting and fishing. After a year of college, Captain Merritt joined the United States Marine Corp Reserves, and activations kept his college career on hold for several years. After completing his Marine obligation, Merritt finished a degree in Wildlife Entrepreneurship and Recreation from T
