In addition to the outstanding Hollins Abroad programs in London and Paris, to which students from all colleges and universities are invited to apply, Hollins offers our own students the opportunity to study on affiliated programs in more than a dozen countries around the world. We make study abroad as accessible as possible by offering programs for students of all majors, applying abroad credits to graduation requirements, and enabling Hollins students to apply all of their Hollins institutional aid to any Hollins or affiliated program.

🌎 Meet Hollins' new Director of Global Learning!

Hi, Hollins! I'm Rachel Fitzgerald, and I'm thrilled to join the Hollins community as the new Director of Global Learning.

My own global learning journey began as a student studying abroad on an exchange program in Ecuador. Since then, I've had the opportunity to live, work, study, and travel in 30+ countries — including co-leading a study abroad program along the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Those experiences helped shape my belief in the transformative potential of global and intercultural learning. It's not simply about where we go — it's about the perspectives we encounter, the relationships we build across cultures, and what we discover about ourselves and the world along the way.

I’m excited to use this space to share global learning opportunities, student and alumnae stories, and glimpses of Hollins around the world.

Whether you're beginning to imagine where Hollins might take you or you're an alumna with a global story to share, I hope you'll follow along and connect with us. 💚
