Kazim Shriners The mission of Shriners is to help children receive medical care for orthopedic issues, burns, spinal cord injury, and cleft lip or palate.

Shriners are a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth with nearly 200 temples (chapters) in several countries and thousands of clubs around the world. Our fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life. Shriners International also supports Shriners Hospitals for Children®, a health system of 22 locations. http://www.shrinersinternational.org/

Last week, the Potentate and members of the Divan attended the Roanoke Valley Shrine Club Ladies Night. A great crowd gathered to enjoy an evening of delicious food, fellowship, and fun.

During the evening, it was announced that the Roanoke Valley Shrine Club voted to cover the cost of the drink tickets for Kazim’s SASA Beach Party. With Kazim already covering the food costs, this generous contribution means the event will now be free of charge for the Nobility attending SASA.

Thank you to the Roanoke Valley Shrine Club for their generosity and support. We are also grateful to all of Kazim’s Shrine Clubs and Units that continue to step up, work together, and make a positive impact on our fraternity and our membership.

Members of Kazim’s Divan recently traveled to the Appomattox Shrine Club to welcome three new Nobles as they crossed the Cold Sands and joined the fraternity.

What made the evening especially memorable was the addition of a father-and-son duo, Jason Henderson and Dylan Henderson, who took this important step together. Moments like these remind us that the bonds of Shrinedom often span generations.

The Appomattox Shrine Club, Kazim’s newest geographical Shrine Club, continues to grow and strengthen, and we are excited to welcome these new Nobles into our fraternity.
