The Department of Sport Studies at Rochester University prepares students for careers in a wide and varied sport industry, such as fitness center management, sport public relations, recreation management, sport promotions, sport marketing, event management, and commercial, professional, intercollegiate, and interscholastic athletic administration. ee in Sport Management, a BBA degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Esports and Gaming Administration, and a MA degree in Sport Leadership.

Incredibly proud of our students in Introduction to Interscholastic Athletic Administration. Students presented detailed game-day checklists and itineraries for a large-scale athletic event. Each presentation thoroughly outlined the necessary personnel, game-day assignments, timelines, and preparation throughout the event. This is the first undergrad class in the country that will earn their RAA through the NIAAA upon graduation.

Students in Managing Sport Organizations presented their research on various companies across different sectors of the sport industry. The students provided thorough explanations of corporate culture, target markets, and brand awareness. A strong conclusion to another fantastic semester.

Students in Sport Ethics presented case studies examining a range of ethical issues within the sport industry. Each presentation was thoroughly researched, and the discussions were engaging and thought-provoking. I am very proud of our next generation of sport leaders.
