Meet our lab manager! Rebecca Klapper is the lab manager for the University of Rochester's Cognitive Development Lab. She works with Dr. Rosengren on a variety of his projects that are currently underway studying how children change over time.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019 with her B.A. in Psychology. She specifically focused her psychology coursework on child and adolescent development.

In her future graduate studies, Rebecca is interested in pursuing a degree in sport psychology and becoming a counselor working with individuals that struggle with mental health.

‼️New study opportunity for parents with at least one child between the ages of 3 and 7.

The Cognitive Development Lab has a new study looking at how parents and their children are talking about Covid-19 parents We are currently recruiting parents/legal guardians with at least one child between the ages of 3 and 7 to fill out a 35-minute online survey. Meet our lab director! Karl Rosengren is the director of the University of Rochester's Cognitive Development Lab. He is has a joint appointment in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences Department and the Psychology Department at the University of Rochester. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in developmental psychology. His research focuses on how the way we think and move changes with age and experience.
