STEM graduate students can now apply for the RISE Program, a National Science Foundation (NSF) initiative offering scholarships of up to $20,000 for the upcoming academic year, with potential renewal for a second year. Designed for master's students with financial need, RISE provides funding alongside training in Digital Twin technology, professional networking, and funded travel to partner institutions to explore Ph.D. pathways.

Students in eligible M.S. programs (including AI, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanical Engineering) are invited to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or refugees with a minimum 3.25 GPA. Incoming students may use their undergraduate GPA, and those close to the 3.25 threshold who can meet it within one semester will still be considered.

Applications are reviewed in the order received, so early submission is encouraged. Apply by July 1 for full consideration.

We are also proud to announce that team members Cesar Ruiz and Erick Cervantes recently graduated from their undergrad programs and are staying at OU to pursue their M.S. in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering degrees this fall! They’ll keep working with the team as they start their graduate journey.
