This special evening celebrates 111 years of Rochester Community and Technical College transforming lives through education while supporting the students we serve every day. Founder’s Day is more than a celebration of our history. It is an opportunity to come together with alumni, community leaders, business partners, and supporters who believe in the power of education to change lives. Funds raised through this event will benefit the Student Success Fund, helping students overcome unexpected barriers through emergency assistance, basic needs support, academic resources, and other critical services that keep them on the path to completion.

The RCTC Campus is closed Monday, September 7th for the Labor Day holiday. Campus will re-open on Tuesday, September 8th for normal hours.

It's a Yellowjacket Game Day! The RCTC Yellowjackets' home game against North Dakota State College of Science at 1:30pm in the Rochester Stadium. It will also be streamed live on ESPN+, making it easier than ever for you to watch the action!

Start your morning on the court! Pickleball Open Gym returns to the Rochester Regional Sports Center this fall, offering a great way to stay active, connect with others, and improve your game. There are two sessions each weekday from 6-8am and 8-10am September 14-October 23.

Free for RCTC students and employees with a valid college ID. Community members are welcome for just $5 per session (cash only).

The RCTC Yellowjackets' home game against North Dakota State College of Science at 1:30pm on Saturday will be streamed live on ESPN+, making it easier than ever for alumni, family, friends, and fans to follow the action!

Rochester Community and Technical College invites the community to a special presentation by Anthony Swofford, best-selling author of Jarhead, on Wednesday, September 23, at 2pm in the Hill Theater on the RCTC campus.

Swofford is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir Jarhead: A Marine’s Chronicle of the Gulf War and Other Battles, which became a national bestseller and was later adapted into the major motion picture Jarhead. Through his writing and public speaking, Swofford has explored themes of military service, leadership, identity, resilience, and the human impact of war.

Later in the day at 6pm, the public is invited to join us in the Compassion Corner of Goddard Library for a short Q&A, followed by a book signing. Books will not be available for purchase; the public should bring their own items to sign. There will be a book discussion on Monday, September 21 to complement this event.

Both events are free and open to the public.
