The first faculty member hired into the department, Professor Amy Lerner has left her indelible mark on the BME program. From Senior Design to the Center for Medical Technology and Innovation, Biosolids to Quality Engineering, Professor Lerner is an extraordinarily dedicated teacher, mentor, and engineer.

The celebration will begin with a program honoring Lerner in Goergen 101. Colleagues, alumni, and former students are invited to share memories and reflect on her contributions to the department. Immediately following, drinks and hearty hors dโ€™oeuvres will be served in the Munnerlyn Atrium.
