From cardiac mechanics to corneas, bioadhesives to orthopedics, Rochester BME faculty and alumni have made amazing contributions to the study of biomechanics. Come hear how our grads are leading research and helping to deliver technology breakthroughs to improve patient care.

Alumni, families, and friends are invited meet with BME faculty, staff, and students. Atrium, and Georgen 101 Receive the latest updates from the department, connect with old friends, and meet the next generation of students. Posters of research and design projects will be on display. Light refreshments will be served.
🎉 BME Department Celebration & Reception Honoring Professor Amy Lerner

The first faculty member hired into the department, Professor Amy Lerner has left her indelible mark on the BME program. From Senior Design to the Center for Medical Technology and Innovation, Biosolids to Quality Engineering, Professor Lerner is an extraordinarily dedicated teacher, mentor, and engineer.
The celebration will begin with a program honoring Lerner in Goergen 101. Colleagues, alumni, and former students are invited to share memories and reflect on her contributions to the department. Immediately following, drinks and hearty hors d’oeuvres will be served in the Munnerlyn Atrium.
