As many of you are aware because of the government shutdown, the United States Coast Guard is not getting paid.

I have been in touch with the Spouse Association for the USCG in Rochester to see how we can support them during this time. There are 26 Coast Guard members, 5 reserve and 35 dependents between them.

Below is a list of items they need. I encourage those attending tomorrow's meeting to bring these items to the meeting. You can also make a monetary donation using our donation link We will use these funds to purchase grocery gift cards

Why does everything feel different when you leave the military? I thought the lack of responsibility and errant phone calls in the middle of the night
