University of Rochester Solar Splash Testing the limits and feasibility of alternative energy through intercollegiate solar boating through the University of Rochester.

Welcome to the official page of the University of Rochester Solar Splash Team. As an engineering club, we look to educate the masses on alternative energy through the building of a solar power-driven boat. Traveling to an international competition each year, the team develops and executes the process of building a boat through design, fabrication, and testing. All work done in this proces

s is divided into project leaders and their corresponding teams. We encourage anyone with an interest to join; we are not an engineering-exclusive club. No prior experience or knowledge is necessary to take part and be an active member of the club.

Last week, Rochester Solar Splash capped off a great year by placing 5th of 11 teams at the 2019 Solar Splash competition!
