Students, as a graduate, I think back on my time here and my expectations of leadership. Authenticity, transparency and engagement top the list of characteristics that still resonate with me, and I pledge to exemplify those characteristics to you.

I'm excited to announce that my first Open Office Hours session for students is next Thursday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. I'm also offering an online session via Zoom on Sept. 20, also from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Please sign up here: https://bit.ly/3cBlJ0F. And if you see me or Lauren on campus, don't hesitate to say hello!

One thing I think we can all get on board with: ditching the suit and celebrating Garnet and Gold Fridays!

And why wait? Let's celebrate our first one this Friday, Aug. 26! Join us by wearing garnet and gold and sporting a sweatshirt/T-shirt/hoodie to show off that Eagle spirit.

If you need some Winthrop gear, check out the bookstore on campus or the apparel stores in the comments below.
