As she walked across the graduation stage last month, Father's Day took on an entirely new meaning for Ebonie Hicklin '24, '26. She knew that degree wouldn't be possible without her late father, Daniel, who also served in the military.
"My father did so much for me growing up," she said. "He worked two jobs, made sacrifices, and always made sure I had everything I needed while setting my life up for success in the future. Because of his hard work, love, and dedication, I proudly dedicate earning this degree to him. None of this would have been possible without his support, and I will forever be grateful for everything he’s done for me."
