In conjunction with PPSV (The Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley), Sierra College Photography hosted a 2-day Photoshop workshop with international Photoshop rockstar Unmesh Dinda from PiXimperfect. It was a sold-out event, drawing local professionals, photography enthusiasts, students, and faculty.
Unmesh wowed participants with an incredible 2-day experience filled with practical tips, advanced techniques, and inspiring insights into the future of digital imaging. Everyone left energized and empowered with their new Photoshop skills!

Interested in Creating One-of-a-Kind Art Using Alternative Processes?

Join Debra Small’s Wet Cyanotype workshop on August 30th, hosted by Viewpoint Photographic Art Center.

Debra Small is a Sacramento-based fine art documentary photographer who works with a variety of historical and contemporary alternative photographic processes. Her work has been widely published and exhibited internationally. A former Sierra College student and long-time teaching assistant, Debra brings both expertise and a passion for creative experimentation to her workshops.

Sierra College Photography had a good presence last night at the Shades of Light photo exhibition at the 7 Stars Gallery in Nevada City.

A big turnout was at the opening for this multi-artist show. Those exhibiting their work included Sierra College photo instructor David McKay, Instructional Volunteer Bob Ogden, and photography student Ashley McBrayer.

Check it out if you are in Nevada City. 210 Spring Street. The show runs through June 29th. Gallery hours are Thursday - Sunday 11am-5pm.
