Celebrating culture, community, and connection. 🇪🇹

Montgomery College joined the Ethiopian community in downtown Silver Spring to celebrate the Ethiopian New Year. 🎉 With traditional music, performances, and a cultural fashion show, the celebration brought together generations—including many Montgomery College students.

The Ethiopian community is Montgomery College’s largest international student community, and MC is proud to be an educational home for students as they begin or continue their journey.

Come and support the Men’s and Women’s soccer teams and the Women’s Volleyball team at the Fall Sports Pep Rally! ⚽️🏐

Wednesday, September 9th in the SV building on Rockville Campus. Doors open at 3:15 and the Pep Rally starts at 4pm! Free snow cones, popcorn and prizes. There will also be games and the reveal of the new Raptors logo!

A big shoutout to the MBI Café ☕️ for stating open late, selling drinks and food and always doing a spin the wheel game where you can win discounts to the MBI Cafe Starbucks!

Whether MC is closed due to snow or a building is unavailable because of a power outage, MC Alerts keep you up-to-date with important campus & college wide information. Register your phone number online to stay alert!

Free food is available at MC. 🍎🥕
Campus pantries and our Mobile Markets provide free food so you can stay focused on your goals. Check out our Student Wellness page to locate which campus is offering the Mobile Markets each week.

Help is available with your schoolwork. 💻

Raptor pride is taking over MC!

Join us September 9 as we kick off the season and celebrate our Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball teams at the Raptors Pep Rally!

Come for the teams. Stay for the fun.

Games and prizes, including musical chairs and the fan-favorite Cup Game. Free snow cones. MBI Café will stay open late with coffee and treats for sale. And the Campus Store will have a special pop-up featuring MC gear and new Raptor merchandise.

And that’s not all.
