Small Business Center at Nash Community College Creating business success in Nash County by providing free business counseling, webinars and events! Some workshops may require a minimal registration fee.

The mission of the Small Business Center (SBC) at Nash Community College is to help launch new businesses and expand existing businesses in Nash County by being a community-based provider of high quality training, counseling, information resources, and referrals. Confidential counseling services, seminars, and use of the resource center are free of charge. Appointments for counseling sessions and advanced registration for seminars and workshops are strongly recommended.

The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC)’s Ignite Grant Program awards grants of $2,500 to $10,000 to eligible women-owned small businesses in Connecticut. Eligible businesses must be at least 51% woman-owned, headquartered and registered in Connecticut, have been operating for at least two years, and have generated between $25,000 and $2 million in revenue over the past 12 months. Applications are due September 13.
