Miner Alumni Association The official page for alumni of Missouri School of Mines, University of Missouri-Rolla, and Missouri University of Science and Technology

Missouri S&T is admired around the world for preparing students and creating research that solves the problems of a technological society. Our more than 71,000 alumni have changed the world in which we live – and they believe Missouri S&T gave them the personal and professional foundation to do so. In return, over 65% of alumni have contributed to their alma mater with over 20% doing so each and e

very year. We are proud to work together with our alumni, donors and friends to advance the future of the university.

We are all still buzzing with excitement from the Golden Alumni Reunion. So, we decided our photo today should come from the 1976 yearbook. This photo is of the Madrigal dinner. Looks like "ye olde fun!"

⭐Meet the Board: Kimberly Johnston, Director at Large⛏

We’re pleased to introduce Kimberly (Kim Dyhouse) Johnston, who serves as Director at Large on the Miner Alumni Board.

Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Missouri S&T in 2018 and later completed her Master of Engineering Technology in Manufacturing from Pittsburg State University in 2021.

Committed to service beyond the workplace, Kim volunteers with the Nucor Memphis Community Outreach team, helping organize community events and partnering with local charities throughout the Memphis area.

Kim and her husband, Ryan (ME ’14, MBA ’17), live in Memphis, Tennessee, with their two dogs and two cats. In their free time, they enjoy being outdoors, tackling home improvement projects, and exploring local breweries.

We’re grateful for Kim’s dedication, leadership, and enthusiasm for the Miner community!
