The Gentlemen of the Epsilon Nu Chapter of Delta Tau Delta at Missouri S&T would like to welcome you to our page.

The Epsilon Nu Chapter of Delta Tau Delta was founded originally as Kappa Phi Fraternity on December 5, 1963 at the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy (now Missouri S&T). Our founding members came from two groups. The first group had already started to found a new fraternity when they met in the Rolla Building on December 5. The other group consisted of men who were interested i

n forming a new fraternity but had not yet taken the steps needed to form one. On March 2, 1964, Kappa Phi set out to secure a house for itself. The house which was purchased for $50,000 was located on eight acres of land along Vienna Road. This house is still the home of Epsilon Nu to this day, although its size was doubled in 1999. Kappa Phi was originally formed with the intention of eventually becoming a chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma, the founders soon became disenchanted with Phi Kappa Sigma's lack of correspondence and support and began looking around at other national fraternities. In early February of 1965, Kappa Phi petitioned Delta Tau Delta Fraternity for colony status. Delta Tau Delta recognized Kappa Phi as an official colony on April 10, 1965 and it was initiated as Epsilon Nu, the 96th chapter, of Delta Tau Delta on December 10, 1966. It celebrated its 50th anniversary with over half of its total initiated members in the fall of 2016.

Last week, 12 brothers traveled to Oklahoma City for Compass. They participated in many leadership growth exercises and focused on solutions for the problems that many college men face. Our chapter was also recognized and awarded on the final day.

We are happy to announce that the Epsilon Nu chapter of Delta Tau Delta has won our 2nd consecutive Hugh Shields award for chapter excellence. We placed 4th out of 130 chapters nationwide. This marks our 5th time winning the Hugh Shields award and our 10th Court of Honor award.

There is no better send off for the final Western Plains division conference. Thank you to every brother for putting in hard work! Rah Delt!

No plans this Halloween season? Problem solved! We'd love to see you all join us at the Delta Tau Delta Haunted Maze again this year! It's family friendly, spooky, and for a good cause! All proceeds benefit JDRF, which fights hard every day to find a cure to Type 1 Diabetes.

At the 2022 Division Conference, the Epsilon Nu chapter was awarded a Hugh Shields award for being in the top 10 performing chapters for all of Delta Tau Delta! We came in 4th out of 130 chapters 😎
