Hi everyone! It’s your lovely Sigma Tau Delta Special Events Coordinator. I’m just popping on to show you about some of my time in England!
I absolutely love it here. The sights are stunning and everyone here is so kind. I honestly hate history but I really enjoy it here. Seeing the different style buildings and architecture is so cool.
Academically, school is not bad. The classes are long, mine are about 3-4 hours each. But you have that class one day per week, and you get only 2-3 assignments per semester. Their grading system is just throwing me off, a 70% here is a 100% at home.
If you’re looking for a sign to study abroad, this is it! You’ll never get this sort of experience again. Indulging in other cultures is so beneficial, and it’s so beautiful. It’s very easy to make friends and to be involved. Travel is also cheap to other countries. The homesickness was bad at first, but you learn how to be more independent and be comfortable on your own. After a few weeks, you feel like you’re at home! I know I’m going to cry when I have to leave lol.
