We wrapped up a year of in-school 4-H Agriculture programming yesterday, and what a year of learning it has been. Students explored all corners of agriculture, careers in the industry, how agriculture touches everyday life, how plants grow, animal by-products, the ruminant digestive system, and so much more.

Our final lesson with K-3rd graders focused on wool. We talked about where wool comes from, read a story together, felt and smelled a real fleece from a ewe, and then made bracelets using clan wool from that same fleece. Their curiosity and excitement were the perfect way to end the year.

So much Learning happened, and we're grateful for the opportunity to share what we love with local youth. Here's to another year of growing knowledge and sparking curiosity in agriculture.
