🌎 Together in LA: UWest Diversity Week Is Coming! 🌎

Mark your calendars for November 2–6, 2026, as UWest celebrates one of our favorite fall traditions—Diversity Week!

Each year, Diversity Week brings our campus community together to explore, appreciate, and celebrate the many cultures, traditions, and perspectives that enrich our university and the Greater Los Angeles area.

This year's theme, "Together in LA," takes us beyond campus and into the vibrant communities of Southern California. Planning is well underway for a week of cultural discovery, shared experiences, and meaningful connections!

Look forward to a Día de los Mu***os celebration, a sound bath experience, tai chi, and visits to local museums, temples, and other cultural landmarks.

Organized by UWest Student Life in collaboration with student clubs, faculty, and staff, Diversity Week promises opportunities to learn from one another, explore our city, and celebrate what brings us together.

✨ Stay tuned for the full schedule—and get ready to discover LA together!

UWest hosted 21 faculty members and 7 students from Chongqing Yitong University and Taishang Technical College for our Program for American Cultural Exchange (PACE)!

From morning guided meditation and lively language classes to afternoon lectures with President Minh-Hoa Ta and our business faculty, it was an incredible experience of learning and connection.

Of course, no SoCal trip is complete without some fun. Our guests explored local beaches, museums, iconic spots, and a special morning at Hsi Lai Temple.

UWest looks forward to building on the friendships formed through PACE and to continued collaboration with our university partners in Chongqing and Taishang.
