📰 New legislation I’ve introduced, the Essential Health Care Access Protection Act, is getting attention as the cardiology dispute between Ellis Medicine and St. Peter’s Health Partners continues.

🏥 Noncompete agreements shouldn’t limit access to health care for entire communities. My bill would prevent these types of health care noncompetes from being enforced when they threaten essential hospital services or access to local heath care.

This is bigger than a dispute between two health systems. Our community’s access to health care should never be put at risk like this‼️

Spent some time lending a hand with the Schenectady City School District Farm to Family Wheels team, helping deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to families in our community. There’s nothing complicated about neighbors helping neighbors—and I’m always glad to roll up my sleeves and be part of it! 🚚🍎🥕

🎥 This week’s Assembly Update—my Labor Day message from the State Capitol.

Labor Day is a time to thank the hardworking people who keep our communities moving—like our teachers, nurses, first responders, tradespeople, farmers, small-business workers and many others 🛠️

Working people fought for safer workplaces, fair pay and reasonable hours. I will always stand with them and fight to protect that progress 💪

As your Assemblyman, I’m working to create good-paying jobs, support local businesses and lower the cost of housing, health care, energy and everyday needs.

I believe if you work hard, you should have the opportunity to get ahead and build a good life for your family — that’s what I’m fighting for every day 🏠

Have a safe and happy Labor Day ❤️
