Round Rock Honey has made the difficult decision to no longer be a vendor at the New Braunfels Farmers Market. We wish the market all the best, but the effort and cost getting to the market from Round Rock - especially with increasing operational costs, perpetual construction delays and heavy traffic - has made the trek to NBFM each week unprofitable.

Here's the upside: Anyone coming to us from New Braunfels with a valid ID (one showing a New Braunfels address) purchasing honey at our factory store or one of the Austin-area farmers markets, will automatically get a 5% off coupon applied to their purchase.

Thank you to Del Valley ISD for hosting my talk this morning about honeybees through the Healthy Hive Foundation. The Child Development Center is an amazing place and doing great work. Round Rock Honey (and me personally), is so honored to have been asked to come talk about honeybees with so many bright-eyed, enthusiastic young minds. Thanks to H-E-B for their ongoing support of the Healthy Hive Foundation and The Talking Bees Roadshow! HEB is a vital community partner for so many non-profits!

Although all Honey House Tours are still on for tomorrow morning, the Honey Harvest event tomorrow at 2pm is needing to be rescheduled. The next Harvest Event class is June 13. All participants have been notified for this sold-out event and will be given first priorateity for rescheduling. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for our customers.

A large swarm just landed near Sprouts grocery store in Round Rock. No time to get them ourselves, but they should be easy to remove or trap out for anyone that wants them. Make sure to get permission from the land owner/property owner.
