💙 + a perfect way to close out Nurses Week 🩺

Meet Princess Nesmith, a 2025 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate from South University, Columbia, whose journey into nursing began as a little girl dressing up in her grandmother’s nursing cape and hat.

After working in nursing-related roles since 1992, Princess returned to school to pursue her BSN and achieve a lifelong dream. She shares how South University helped prepare her not only clinically, but professionally, for the next chapter of her career, and she’s not done yet! 👏 Princess plans to continue her journey by returning to South to pursue her Master’s degree.

Her story is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to pursue your purpose!

Some of the PA team was on the move in San Antonio recently!

Faculty from our South University, High Point and South University, Austin programs recently attended the SEMPA Conference, where they hosted an exhibitor booth, connected with PAs and recruiters from across the country, and secured new clinical preceptors for our growing High Point program.

From networking with professionals in places as far as Alaska to reconnecting with , the team gained valuable insights and heard incredible feedback about our graduates, known for being ready to step into emergency medicine roles from day one.

They even had the chance to experience an evening at the historic The Alamo while continuing to build connections in the field.

We’re proud of the impact our faculty and students are making nationwide, and this is just the beginning!
