Hello geology friends! We will soon be gearing up for another fantastic year of activities and adventures. If you want to join ATU Geology Club, follow these instructions. We will be setting up a table at the ATU Involvement Fair and we’d love to see you there!

Over the weekend, Geology Club found a carbonatite: a calcium-rich igneous rock and pyrite! Did you know that Arkansas was once home to a carbonatite volcano? The only carbonatite volcano that exists now is the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano in Tanzania! Check out some videos and see what sets these volcanoes apart from the rest!
