Is your student thinking about taking summer classes? Financial Aid Guidance for Summer 2026 is listed below:

The Arkansas Tech University Office of Financial Aid will start packaging aid for summer 2026 soon. Current ATU students will receive an e-mail award notice showing their eligibility shortly after they register for summer classes. The 2025-26 FAFSA will be used to award summer aid.

Even students who think they have used all of their 2025-26 aid in fall 2025 and spring 2026 may still be eligible for summer aid. Contact the ATU Office of Financial Aid at (479) 968-0399 or [email protected] to inquire about summer eligibility.

Students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 hours undergraduate/5 hours graduate) to be eligible for student loans in the summer. Summer aid will only pay for classes that go toward a student's major and in which they are enrolled in as of 5 p.m. June 2, 2026. No additional aid will be given for classes after this date.

Students should always check with the ATU Office of Financial Aid if they plan to add or drop a class as this could affect their aid eligibility.

Students must complete the 2026-27 FAFSA to receive aid for fall 2026 and spring 2027. Students who have not already completed the 2026-27 FAFSA should do so as soon as possible.

Contact the ATU Office of Financial Aid at (479) 968-0399 or [email protected] for more information or to discuss aid eligibility.

Short version: the parking lots and the roads on campus are still hazardous due to the winter weather. We'll be virtual again on Thursday, Jan. 29. Formal communication below, but you probably have it memorized by now.

Essential in-person operations, including food service, public safety and facilities management, will remain available in order to serve residential students on the Russellville campus.

Other staff members on the ATU campuses in Russellville and Ozark as well as at Arkansas Tech Career Center will be available remotely.
