📦 Move-In Day is almost here!
While you all are out there finalizing your checklists and packing your final boxes, we wanted to give you a few reminders to stay safe in this Arkansas heat!
💧 Stay Hydrated: Keep water bottles nearby, and if you sweat a lot, be sure to replenish those electrolytes with a sports drink or hydration mix.
🥨 Bring Some Snacks: Don’t underestimate the appetite you’ll work up while you move – be sure to bring some healthy snacks to keep you going between meals!
🏋️ Use Proper Lifting Techniques: Lift with your legs, not your back! If it’s too heavy to move on your own, be sure to ask for help!
🧘 Remember to Take Breaks: Listen to your body, and take frequent breaks to avoid heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Last but not least: Have fun!!🎉We can’t wait to see you around campus!

Did you know that Arkansas Tech University staff can earn 8 hours of wellness leave by completing an annual health screening? You can visit your own primary care physician, or schedule an exam at the ATU Health and Wellness Center.
