CONGRATULATIONS to our April 2026 Student Leader of the month, Haley Lorings! 🎉 Read below to learn more about her! 👇

Haley Lorings, a Junior from Little Rock, is majoring in Nursing with a Psychology minor. Haley is a student worker at the Ferguson Student Union, Student Coordinator for the New Student Orientation and a member of the Latinx Student Organization, a member of the Student Nursing Association, Black Student Association and a peer mentor for Minority Mentorship. Haley loves dad jokes - a funny one is “what’s made of leather and sounds like a sneeze? A shoe” 🤭

The Student Leadership Development Office will honor an undergraduate student each month to recognize the constant contribution and impact that students here at Arkansas Tech University make everyday. Thank you to March Student Leader of the Month, Nikki Victory, for joining us in an interview! 📣

Nikki Victory, Junior from Mayflower, is double majoring in Business Management and Digital Marketing. Nikki serves as the President of the First-Generation Student Organization, the Co-Editor in Chief for The ArkaTech. Nikki also holds a position as the Project Manager of the Marketing Interns for the Department of Residence Life, Good As Gold Ambassador for the College of Business, and a SAB Team Member, with 71 service hours. Nikki loves reading! Fun fact, Nikki recently started a BookTok and Bookstagram to connect with more readers, authors, and content creators.
