Our first meeting of the semester will be held tomorrow at 3pm in WPN 337. Please make sure and attend because we will be holding officer elections and you don't want to miss your chance at a position. They're looked highly upon in graduate school and employment applications.

Hey everyone!

PSI CHI Inductions will be held tomorrow from 3-4pm in Doc Bryan 242. All officers need to attend (minus Kyle) and all members are encouraged to attend to support your fellow students in their achievements. We would greatly appreciate your attendance! Also, inductees and officers need to dress in business casual attire for we will be taking pictures for the national office.

Hey everybody!

With Thanksgiving around the corner, tomorrow's BSC meeting will be centered around giving thanks to our hard working members, officers, and faculty sponsors. Our President will be providing food and refreshments for everyone to enjoy as a thank you for all that you have accomplished this semester! Everyone has worked hard and done a great job on all that BSC has been involved in. Thanks so much to everyone that has contributed! I hope to see you all tomorrow for a well earned day of thanks.

If you weren't able to make it to yesterdays meeting, here is an overview of what we did:

Members received QPR training for prevention of su***de from Hunter Bramlett.
We also discussed our Halloween themed bake sale which will be held next Tuesday from 8am-3pm at the Bell Tower. We need members to sign up for a 1 hour shift (you may sign up for multiple shifts if you'd like) to man the stand. We also need members to bake up some ghooly goods to sell!
Also, Tyler Schuermann talked with us about volunteering at the public library haunted house on October 28th, 29th, and 31st. They also need volunteers to help set the haunted house up. This will be going on for the next two weeks. If you would like to sign up to help with this please contact Tyler at [email protected]. He will also be in the Because We Can meeting today at 4pm in Witherspoon 335 with a sign up sheet if you are or would like to attend.

Everybody come out to Tomlinson 119 at 2pm today for our Halloween mixer! You may wear a costume to be in the costume contest or just come to hang out. A prize will be given to the winner and pizza and drinks will be provided to all that attend!

Behavioral Sciences Club and Because We Can would like to sincerely thank everyone that helped in the success of the toy collection. Our total haul was above and beyond what was expected. We donated so much that DHS was able to give each child at the conference multiple prizes as well as hold onto a lot of the donations for Christmas presents! The children had a blast and loved all of the gifts they received!

Thank you so much to all that had a part in spreading the word, donating, and collecting. We are so appreciative of your help.

Hey everybody!

Please join us at our meeting tomorrow at 2pm in Witherspoon 275. We will be finalizing the schedule of volunteers for the Foster Parent Conference this Saturday, making the sign with all of the sponsors who have donated to the Foster Parent Conference collections, and wrapping up all that we have accomplished.

HUGE thanks to everyone that has participated in collecting, planning activities, volunteering for the conference, and anyone that has donated! Everyone has done an amazing job.
