Graduate researchers Alexander Isiani and Ramanshu Jha showcased their innovative work at the ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE) 2025 in Memphis, TN!
✅ Alexander presented “A Method for Algorithmic Fault Detection in Material Extrusion Additive Manufacturing.”
✅ Ramanshau shared “Impact of Infill Print Direction on Mechanical and Dynamic Properties of Printed ABS-GTR Filaments.”
Their research takes place in Lab 9 at the Institute for Micromanufacturing, guided by Dr. Kelly Crittenden and Dr. Leland Weiss.

Louisiana Tech University’s Graduate Student Council invites you to participate in the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition.

This event challenges you to present your thesis or dissertation research clearly and engagingly in just three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

Event Details:
Date: Monday, December 8, 2025
Location & Time: To be announced
Eligibility: Open to master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation students

Prizes:
Winner: $500
Runner-Up: $250
People’s Choice: $250
