🎼 CHAMBER SINGER MUSICIAN OF THE WEEK 🎼

Good morning! We are so excited to announce that this week's chamber singer musician of the week is Bethany Williams. Bethany perfectly displays the educational diversity within the choir through her choice of curriculum. On top of her education-long dedication to the choral program, as a chamber singer and university choir saprano, she is a senior in Biomedical engineering.

Bethany serves as a leader in the soprano section and is always seen as having perfect singing posture, focus, and musical confidence. Her positive attitude, also, acts as a strong foundation in the soprano section. We consider Bethany to be a true asset to the choirs, and are so eager to see where she goes.

Imagine hearing the radiant sound of light. By attending the Louisiana Tech Choirs' spring concert, Luminescence, this thought can become a reality. Luminescence begins at 7:00 pm in Howard Auditorium. At no cost, the performance welcomes both the public and the student body. On May 09 (Tuesday), we would love to share the brilliant rays of light that are our choirs' voices with you. Please join us and share this information.

🎼CHAMBER SINGER MUSICIAN OF THE WEEK🎼

It's that time of the week again, where the Louisiana Tech Chamber Singers announce their musician of the week. Showcasing all ideal values and traits of a chamber singer, Chanley Patterson is the musician of the week.

Her positivity, accountability, and leadership act as a major contribution to the chamber singer environment. Her contribution acts as a foundation of confidence within the choir and radiates a positive impact. Each day her leadership is shown through her desire to ensure each choir member remains positive and respectful.

Beyond her contributions within the choir, Chanley's community and institutional engagement exceeds expectations within the group. Her participation in the Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, the Louisiana Tech School of Theatre's Spring Musical, echoes her commitment and passion in her musical pursuit.

In addition to her engagement within the institution and chamber singing group, Chanley chooses to dedicate her time to assisting others. For the past seven years, Chanley has organized the Children's Miracle Network Talent Show. In addition to showcasing community talent and engagement, this event raises funds to an organization which provides treatments to millions of individuals each year. This includes our very home, the state of Louisiana.

A Human Development and Family Science Major, Chanley Patterson has even given her education to a cause which will certainly benefit the community. Chanley is truly a perfect example of who embodies the characteristics of the musician of the week.

🎼CHAMBER SINGERS MUSICIAN OF THE WEEK! 🎼

The Louisiana Tech University Chamber Singers have named Rebekah Heiden as this week's musician of the week, and we want to congratulate her on this well-deserved honor. Rebekah has shown remarkable dedication and hard work in the soprano section of the choir, making her an essential member of the ensemble.

In addition to her impressive contributions to the choir, Rebekah is also the President of the Louisiana Tech University Choir, where she leads the group with enthusiasm and dedication. Her passion for music is evident in everything she does, and she serves as an inspiration to her fellow musicians.

But that's not all: Rebekah also serves as the President of the Louisiana Tech University Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. This role involves organizing and facilitating events and workshops for the university's choral community, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to the music program.

Rebekah's outstanding achievements and contributions to the university's music community are a testament to her talent and hard work. We are proud to have her as a member of the Louisiana Tech University Chamber Singers and are excited to see what she accomplishes in the future.

Once again, congratulations to Rebekah Heiden on being named the Chamber Singers' Musician of the Week!
