What are Louisiana Tech Honors College students up to this summer? 👇️
Big things are happening for Mikael Maia Abud! Mika, an Aviation Management major, is interning with the Airside Operations team at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
Day-to-day, this involves inspecting the airfield to keep it FAA-compliant, helping enforce safety across the Air Operations Area, and responding to incidents and irregular operations to keep CLT running smoothly for every flight that takes off or lands.
In Mika's words: "I have had an incredible time here at CLT, and am learning a lot about one of the career paths my degree opens."
