Louisiana Tech's ACTS Alumni

Louisiana Tech's ACTS Alumni An online community for all the members of the ACTS family, who have graduated! This online community is a testament of that! Here we can remember our community.

The Association of Catholic Tech Students are a community of students on Tech's campus joined by a common desire to love God! The community however, is for the graduated ACTS students (along with any Catholic Ministry before it was called ACTS), who want, in a small or large way, to help the current ACTS students at Tech, but also who want to keep in touch with their ACTS family across the United

States. If you recall from your years at Tech, ACTS is kept running only by the support of their alumni, financially and physically! The group on campus today would not be where it is at today without the hard work of those involved before them. Your presence in this organization does not end when you walk off the stage with your diploma. But your legacy lives on in all the students still in the organization today and those to come. We are all connected in one larger ACTS family! Those who came before and after us. Those who we lost touch with. Those who we helped along the way. And those who helped us! Plus you can remain a part of the ACTS online community in this group without being invited to EVERY pancake dinner ;). haha. So keep checking the page. We will keep updating you with what is going on now in ACTS, and keep us updated with what ways you all are going out and "changing the world"!

This week we heard from Nicholas Price ’02. Nic volunteers with Holy Spirit Haiti Mission, based in Huntsville AL. They are a ministry called to do the Lord's work helping one person at a time. Their focus includes but is not limited to orphanage support, education, clean water initiatives, and seeking islands of economic opportunity to help Haitians "learn to fish"

Our vision for our students is “Being
Catholic at Tech”. But that vision does
not only stay in Ruston for our young
adults. Many of our graduates are very
involved in their church inspired by the
good example set here at St. Thomas. We
will feature some of these students each
week.
