MRI 2026 has entered the building. And apparently, so has the volume ;)
 
This week was full of Venipuncture, Patient Care, and just enough chaos to keep campus interesting. MRI 2026 experienced one last round of hands-on training before clinicals!
 
Loud on campus. Learning in progress. No complaints. (Okay, maybe just a few 😂)

Five programs. One campus. A whole lot of future healthcare heroes.

Our first-ever Program Mixer brought together students from all five SUI programs to eat, play, mingle, swap stories, and make connections beyond their own labs.

Because healthcare isn’t a solo sport, and we’re here for a little interdisciplinary mingling ;)

Different scrubs. Different specialties. One incredible future in healthcare. We love ALL our programs, and we love seeing the people behind them come together 💙💛

A day in the Cath Lab… before clinicals even begin!? Unheard of? Not at Sacramento Ultrasound Institute!

Our Invasive Cardiovascular Technology students are getting a front-row seat to the real thing, because hands-on experience shouldn’t have to wait until clinicals. We make opportunities happen whenever we can!

Huge thanks to our clinical affiliate,Mercy San Juan Medical Center for opening your Cath Lab doors and giving our future cardiovascular techs a glimpse of what’s ahead!

Big upgrade. Bigger skills!
 
Our Invasive Cardiovascular Technology students just got a serious new training tool: the VIST® G7 interventional simulator!
 
Think realistic device handling, advanced haptic feedback, and hands-on practice with the tools used in real interventional procedures; all in a simulated environment. Students can sharpen their technique, build confidence, and practice complex workflows before stepping into the clinical setting.
 
Because preparing the next generation of cardiovascular professionals means more than talking about it. If you can’t tell, we’re pretty excited about this one!

As our Cardiac Sonography Program Director, Dr. Bashir Noori brings clinical expertise, perspective, and a whole lot of knowledge to the classroom; helping our students turn their interest in cardiac imaging into a career.
 
The heart of his program? Great instruction, real-world experience, and students who are ready to make an impact. That’s the good stuff :)

We’re excited to announce the launch of SUI’s Computed Tomography Continuing Education Course; designed for imaging professionals ready to add CT to their skill set and take the next step in their career.
