The longest French word is often said to be "anticonstitutionnellement" (unconstitutionally), but the Académie Française just recognized a word with two more letters: "intergouvernementalisations". It refers to implementation of a program by multiple governments.

Claude Monet was born in 1840. ‘Lavacourt under Snow’ represents a hamlet on the other side of the Seine from Vétheuil, where Monet had settled in 1878.
