A beloved chimpanzee who arrived at the Sacramento Zoo in 1967 died Sunday at the age of 57, zoo officials announced on Wednesday.

Department of Anthropology's Committee for Anti-Racism, Diversity, and Inclusion (CARDI) invites you to a Town Hall Discussion on fighting racism and building an equitable, inclusive, actively anti-racist Anthropology Department. Coming out of the UCLA/Getty Graduate Program in the Conservation of Archaeological and Ethnographic Materials is a short, yet very sweet opportunity for students and recent graduates from historically underrepresented groups - a fully funded, week-long summer workshop in Los Angeles designed to introduce participants to conservation and other collections work through tours, lab activities, lectures and presentations at the Getty Villa and regional museums.
