The Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) program in the LRC is designed to help ARC students with any academic writing task for any course. The program provides students with:

- Writing conferences with faculty & staff
- WAC drop-in help
- Grammar & composition workshops

- Apply MLA & APA formats

NOTE: Interested students should enroll in any of the following WAC courses: ENGWR 95, ENGWR 96, or ENGWR 306. Space is limited, so students should enroll early in the semester.

We're so close to the semester finish line 🏃‍♀️ Just a quick reminder that WAC students only have a week left to use our services and earn activity points, so please make sure to plan accordingly! This means booking any necessary conference appointments ASAP and reviewing our workshop materials before all of your writing assignments for your other classes are due at the end of the semester 👍🏼

Just a heads up that we'll be closed next week for spring break, so if you think you might need some writing help soon, please plan accordingly 👍🏼 We have plenty of conference appointments still available this week (including same-day appointments), and our drop-in chat room is also available for immediate help with quick questions, so come see us this week and give yourself time to enjoy the sunshine next week 🌞

Working on a writing assignment and have an immediate, brief question or concern? Swing by our drop-in and chat with our friendly, knowledgeable WAC staff! Also, if you receive help, you get credit for one of your activities 😎 All you have to do is simply click on the "Chat" link on our Canvas page, and you'll be redirected to our live chat drop-in channel. We encourage you to continue scheduling conference appointments for more thorough feedback on writing assignments, but if you run into any snags while you're writing, we're to help 💪

We understand that regular appointments tend to fill quickly, so we also offer same-day conference appointments throughout the day to ensure that you receive the help you need, when you need it. Just log onto MyWCOnline and book one as you would a regular conference, or get in touch with us and we'll assist you with booking one 🙂
