On January 30, the Office of Student Life took leadership to new heights at our first-ever Student Leadership Conference! From meaningful conversations to thought-provoking presentations, students walked away with skills they can carry into the classroom, their RSOs, and future careers. 💼

A huge thank-you to every student who showed up ready to learn, lead, and grow—and to our incredible guest speakers who made this conference truly unforgettable! We can't wait for next year! 🎉

Cardinals Lead. ✨

The Office of Student Life is proud to announce our 2026 Student Leadership Conference on Friday, January 30th! We have an entire day planned for any Cardinal that wants to grow in their leadership, whether that be here on campus or in the real world!

The conference will feature three tracks that students can choose from:

✨Track One: Leadership at SVSU - Do you have a leadership role on campus? Maybe your the president of your RSO looking for ways to increase your organizations outreach, or a Tour Guide looking to connect future Cardinals with leadership opportunities. Whatever your background is, we want to connect you with the resources and skills to increase your campus impact!

✨Track Two: Leadership Beyond SVSU - Ready to take the next step in your career? The "Leadership Beyond SVSU" track connects students with resources on navigating their career path, financial literacy, and networking - and that's not all! You won't want to miss our Young Alumni panel as they discuss life after SVSU!

✨Track Three: Leadership Theory - Maybe you feel confident in your leadership but want to dig a little deeper. This track explores topics like intercultural communication and emerging theories on effective leadership!
