We always love connecting with community partners!

Grateful for the opportunity to tour and spend some time with Dr. Kyle Reason from the Department of Exercise Science!

It was great learning more about their programs, curriculum, and the hands-on experiences they’re providing to prepare students for careers in health, fitness, rehabilitation, and human performance.

We always appreciate opportunities to connect with local educators and learn more about how the next generation of health and wellness professionals is being developed right here in Central Minnesota. Thank you, Dr. Reason, for taking the time to show us around and share more about the program!

Always a pleasure having the teams come in for testing! The HPL is proud to support our Husky Athletics whenever we can!

Greetings, Alumni and Friends of the Human Performance Lab!

We’re thrilled to share some of the exciting research happening in the lab this year!

In the fall, two of our talented undergraduate students conducted a study examining the effects of different bicep curl variations on muscle hypertrophy. This groundbreaking work will be submitted for publication and showcased at the Northland ACSM Conference this April.

This semester, we are collaborating with our Strength & Conditioning team and the Men’s Soccer program to explore the impact of a neuromuscular stimulation device on recovery and the retention of warm-up benefits. We look forward to submitting this research for publication and presenting it at an academic conference in the near future.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in the work we do. Stay tuned for more updates from the Human Performance Lab!
