A big thank you to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for awarding St. Cloud State University a workforce development grant that will support customized training with Essilor Luxottica.

SCSU and EssilorLuxottica are launching a 240-hour training program covering automation, robotics, emerging technologies, and leadership development, taught by SCSU faculty and industry experts.

We’re grateful for the partnerships like this that invest in our local workforce and the future of advanced manufacturing in Central Minnesota.

Dr. Christopher P. Lehman won a Minnesota Book Award on May 6 for his book "It Took Courage: Eliza Winston's Quest for Freedom." Please join us in congratulating him for winning the Hognander Minnesota History Award!

The Hognander Minnesota History Award recognizes the author of the most outstanding scholarly work related to Minnesota history published during the preceding two years. The award, funded by the Hognander Family Foundation, is presented every two years.
