“When I graduated (from St. John’s), I came down to the Children’s Theatre for what was to be a one-year apprenticeship,” Holt said. “At the end of that season, I was invited back for a second season. So, I deferred grad school and stayed on for another year. At the end of that season, I was offered to join their permanent company — so that’s where I’ve been for the last 31 years.”
