Spirit Team T-Shirt Design Contest

The Saint Leo Spirit Team is hosting a T-shirt design contest! The ideal design captures the essence of Saint Leo University without utilizing the university logo. Pope Leo XIV Essay Competition

Saint Leo University students at all levels and from all modalities are invited to participate in an essay contest (1000 words) in response to this question: What impact do you believe Pope Leo XIV will have on the Catholic Church and the global community? Why do you believe this? Prizes will be awarded to one University Campus student and one WorldWide student.

Chick-fil-A Monthly Campus Pop-Up
The first Wednesday of the month, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm, in front of the Student Activities Building (SAB), Chick-fil-A Zephyrhills will be hosting a Saint Leo University pop-up location to give students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to conveniently purchase select meals right here on campus.

Drinks may be purchased upon availability. Contactless payments are accepted. Note that Saint Leo University students cannot purchase meals with their student meal plans/student I.D. ROAR Monthly Service: THORN

ROAR (Reach Out • Act • Restore) is University Ministry’s service program, inspiring students to live their faith through meaningful action. Guided by the values of compassion, hospitality, and service, ROAR connects the Saint Leo community with opportunities to help those in need—both on campus and beyond.
THORN Ministries: On the first Sunday of each month (excluding May, June, July, and August), ROAR volunteers travel to Tampa to partner with THORN Ministries in serving the homeless community. Together, we share meals, distribute clothing, and offer kindness and conversation to those often overlooked. This hands-on outreach is a powerful expression of our call to serve, helping restore dignity, strengthen community, and bring light to those in challenging circumstances.
Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee 2025 Concert

In December 2024, the late Pope Francis declared 2025 a Jubilee Year of Hope, encouraging all to “look beyond the darkness of the world today to the hope that all find through a life in Christ, and to offer hope to others.”
Saint Leo University’s Department of English, Music, and the Arts and the Catholic Identity Advisory Committees are hosting the event to spread that joy to the community through music as well as to showcase the talents of its students and faculty members.

Sign in to the scholarship portal with Saint Leo username and password: https://saintleo.academicworks.com/.
Complete and submit the General Application.
Review Recommended opportunities and apply where appropriate (verify selection criteria).
Check the Dashboard for status. If it does not say Submitted, the application is not complete.
If selected, the student receives an email notification at their Saint Leo address and must accept or decline and complete post-acceptance steps by the stated deadline.
