April 26 - May 2 is Preservation Week. This year's theme is 'Preserving Memory & Building Archives,' and we can't think of a better collection to highlight than paying tribute to a recent addition to the University Archives:

From the 80s to the 90s—Hamline through the lens of Ken Dehkes. 🎞️✨

After 35 years of dedicated service, recently retired Associate Vice President for Facilities Ken Dehkes has left us with one final gift: his incredible collection of photography slides.
Our archivist Shandi is currently digitizing these archives, uncovering vibrant shots of:

🌸 Local flora and fauna
🏫 Classic campus architecture
⏳ Moments captured between 1980 and 1997

We can’t wait to share these digitized memories with you soon! Which part of campus history would you love to see most?
