Sometimes when we feel overwhelmed, all we need is to pause and focus on breathing. Focusing on our breathing allows us to tune into our bodies, place our attention on something other than our worries, and naturally calm our bodies and minds down. You can do this anywhere, anytime, because all you need is your breath. To practice, click on the link below and gently breathe with the animation. Notice what it feels like to breathe. Taking even 1 minute of breathing this way can make it easier to cope with difficult feelings and help us regain focus.
