UST Sociology and Criminal Justice

UST Sociology and Criminal Justice The Sociology program and the Criminal Justice program are in the Department of Justice and Society Studies, along with the Justice and Peace Studies program.

The Sociology and Criminal Justice programs provide students with undergraduate preparation for careers, as well as a strong foundation for graduate and professional study. As an essential component of the liberal arts, the disciplines of sociology and criminal justice provide a foundation for understanding and critically reflecting on society and social life. The sociology and criminal justice pr

ograms contribute to the academic objectives of the College of Arts & Sciences and the University by providing courses to meet various requirements for a degree, as well as courses of study leading to majors and minors in both sociology and criminal justice. The majors in sociology and criminal justice provide students with undergraduate preparation for careers, as well as a strong foundation for graduate and professional study.
