We would like to take a moment to appreciate the long lived life of Melvin Giles, peace activist in the Rondo community and longtime partner to the Macalester community. May his legacy continue to grow and inspire others.

Be sure to check out the Peace Polls on campus or at the Western Sculpture Park in Saint Paul’s in honor of Melvin Giles.

Attend the Stand Up for Science Rally in St. Paul this Friday, March 7 (simultaneous events in DC and around the country)! The rally focuses on these policy goals.

The rally starts at 3pm at the Minnesota State Capitol. To commute in a group to the event, meet at the Grand/Snelling A-line station (by FedEx) at 2:05pm. We will catch the 2:14pm bus to arrive a bit early (but the 2:24 option will get you there right at 3). Stand up for science!
