USFSP Entrepreneurship Club The USFSP Entrepreneurship Club is the place to be for anyone interested in business, innovation, cr We're here to help your ideas and dreams become a reality.

The USFSP Entrepreneurship Club is a hub for entrepreneurs, innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers, and curious students on campus. Whether you have an invention in mind, a problem you want to solve, a fledgling or established business, or just want to meet enthusiastic, like-minded people; you're in good company! The club serves as a resource center for all types of creatives and entrepren

eurs. We bring mentors, speakers, workshop facilitators, prominent business-people, and other innovative minds to campus for events that are open to all students and community-members alike. The events, competitions, and conferences we travel to provide great exposure for student funding and business development. Start-up competitions, pitch competitions, creativity conferences, and career conferences are a few of the impact-oriented trips we strive to make available for our students. In the past, the USFSP Entrepreneurship club has taken top honors and won many of the competitions, as well as having students facilitate and participate directly in conference activities and certification programs. This club goes beyond helping you develop a professional resume - we want you to leave this club with a business. Bring your ideas, passions, and curiosity to an ENT Club meeting and start a plan to create your own success. We'll be there to facilitate along the way. Our goal is to connect students with the the mentors, resources, knowledge, and opportunities they need to develop themselves and create awesome post-graduation prospects in line with their goal.

Universities need to prepare graduates for careers they define for themselves

In the past, a university education typically prepared students for careers defined by others. More than ever in the unpredictable post-pandemic world, universities need to prepare them for careers they define themselves. Universities have to offer the curricula, facilities and incentives to create new generations of entrepreneurs, as well as the traditional pathways into the professions, established companies and into government.

This is part of the sea change that is needed to modernise universities and will play a crucial role as they help build the jobs and industries needed for economic recovery after COVID-19. When once it was a marginal activity, entrepreneurship has become a centrally important part of the university experience.
