Awesome article in the Salem Reporter for one of the amazing organizations we helped fund this year; Black Joy Oregon. We are so glad to have had an opportunity to hear their story! The Willamette MBA Community Grant Program is such a rewarding educational experience and would not be possible without the funding and strong relationship we have built through United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley. Thank you Marianne Pearson Bradshaw for leading our Philanthropic Investment for Community Impact student cohort through an important discussion on the measurement and evaluation of impact investments made by not-for-profit organizations. Each year, Willamette University MBA graduates enter the workforce prepared to lead mission-critical work across sectors -- including both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations -- and to build a stronger, brighter future for everyone. It's through hands-on experience and opportunities brought by professors, guest lectures and classes like Philanthropic Investment for Community Impact that students can quickly develop talent and leadership skills inside and outside the classroom.

We are sending a very special “thank you” to Ron Hays for leading an inspiring discussion on building leadership in nonprofits in an increasingly complex world as part of Willamette University MBA's class Philanthropic Investment for Community Impact. Ron taught us that while building leaders is an investment that takes time, it creates a legacy of decision makers spanning generations that are ready to lead in the most uncertain times. With your forward-looking leadership, Ron, a growing community of graduates each year are prepared to lead nonprofits in building a stronger, brighter future.
