Those who plan on visiting Israel from visa-exempt countries (like the USA) will eventually need to enroll in Israel's ETA (electronic travel authorization) program. The program goes into effect in January 1, 2025. Each enrollment period is valid for two years.
A pilot program is in effect for visitors from the USA. For those who enroll before January 2025, the application fee has been waved.
If Israel is in your travel plans or on your bucket list, check out the ETA program link below.
BTW: Israel is a safe place to visit. I was there after the October 7 attack and was safe every place I visited - including the places where the October 7 attacks occurred.
In December I am taking a group of pastors from across the US (as well as the President and the Global Marketing Director for the tour company I use) to Israel. If it was not safe to visit Israel, the tour company, Israel, airlines, and the US State Department would not allow us to travel to Israel. All systems are "GO" for the pastors tour.
Visit this link (https://registernow.ittworld.com) with tour code LLOYDFAM24 for more information. Those who are already enrolled in the December pastors tour do not need the ETA (which goes into effect in January 2025).
